As is typical in the northern counties, there was mist and fog rolling in from the Pacific. There was a warm, secure and tranquil feeling about the fog. It was like a giant comforter being placed everywhere. When it enveloped me, the misty droplets gently landed on my skin to give me a mystical sensation. When I took a breath, my lungs tasted the vapor of the sea.
Before I knew it the sun was setting down and the wind was picking up. It started to get cold. But in a split second, in the twinkling of the eye, the sun rays popped through just to warm me up again.
There were two instances where the rays flashed by, sorry to say I only had a chance to capture one. But I hope this image gives you a glimpse of the rough, yet beautiful coastal scenes that I am beginning to enjoy more and more.
I really enjoyed capturing them and plan to go back soon. If you haven’t had a chance to venture onto Marin and Sonoma, maybe these photos will inspire you to go.
Wishing you very warm and special memorable images.
